By harlot do you mean a woman who engages in sexual intercourse for money such as prostitute, cocotte, whore, bawd, tart, cyprian, fancy woman, working girl, sporting lady, lady of pleasure, woman of the street?
Do you think certain sandals were made just for them? I would think not.
For one thing Jesus places them with tax collectors.

Whats the difference, but what does that have to do with the silver, who said any color is what a harlot would wear. Its probably how much of something they wear.
