God defies the laws of physics, so trying to quantify Him as such is a waste of time.

Jesus was given authority over everything by his Father (God) and is worthy of all due honor afforded a son. You never heard of a son having the same authority over his Dad's land, business and other properties? Its not unheard of my friend.

Jesus possesses all such authority UNTIL he has put the last enemy under his feet - THEN - Jesus turns all things back over you his Father, and Jesus will be like his brothers. That's Bible 101 folks. READ THE BIBLE and get a clue.

Therefore Jesus could not possibly be his own Father. No wonder the Jews refuse Jesus, if they are to accept a twisted concept of who the Messiah really is. The Jews simply hear these Trinitarians and those who say Jesus is his Father.., that flies against the grain of the prophecies concerning the Messiah.

Jesus came in the Authority of God, God dwelled in him. They were ONE in that sense only. God is still just one God - the Son is also son of Man.., being born of God and born of man.

We are in the physical realm, and so our minds can't totally grasp the spiritual realm. Bible-believing Christians believe that there is one God with three "parts". The Father- God, the Son- Jesus, and the Holy Spirit- that lives in our hearts/lives. As I said, there is only one God. I know it doesn't make sense to our finite minds, but truly God , Jesus, and the Holy Spirit are one being, and personally I believe that they are all equal. No one "part" is greater than the others. God rules the world. Jesus paid for our sin, and he will be there on judgement day. The Holy Spirit works in our lives. Basically, we can't understand it, and they all have their part.

It is written that Jesus said, "The Father and I are one." Jesus never once sinned against His Father. Jesus was the express image of God. If you saw Jesus, You saw the Father. The words He said were His Father's words. Jesus, born of a virgin, did not have sin nature. He is the Word of God. Read John 1. The trinity is Father, Son (Word that became flesh & dwelt among us) & Holy Spirit & these are one. Read about in Genesis 1. The Trinity is throughout the old and new testaments.

i in my opinion examine the previous 33 responses. The information seems overwhelming, and that i agree, Jesus=God=Holy Spirit. Jesus is that's called the Lamb of God. of course he became no longer a sheep. Jesus is termed the Prince of Peace, and additionally the King of Kings. How can he be the two a prince and a king on a similar time? A contradiction? No. His a number of names are used to describe the indescribable (in human words). our lord god Almighty!! Peace out. p.s. some great solutions interior the 1st 33, and a pair of duds.

He cannot be!
Read John 14:28!
I've listed some more texts in here!

Trinity is "A three-fold personality existing in one divine being or substance, the union in one God the Father, Son, and Holy Spirit as three infinite co-equal, co-eternal persons as; one God in three persons.

The trinity concept came from PAGANISM-(paganism means no religious beliefs); here are a few sites that will tell you:

http://www.chipublib.org/shamrock/stpats...
http://www.faqfarm.com?q/who_was_st._pat...

There are 3 that protestants claim about the trinity; they're JOHN 14 & 15 and 1JOHN 5:7. To start out 1JOHN 5:7 was never in any of the inspired Greek manuscripts; so this knocks out one. As for John 14 & 15; the Greek word for "helper" is paracletos; one who helps inwhich points to the Holy spirit. In Greek, the word "He" is neuter such as "hand" is feminine whether it is a woman's hand or male's hand. As for the word "paracletos" it is masculine and always require a masculine pronoun. This however doesn't prove personhood as you've noticed.
But as you've noticed, these texts don't prove Jesus is God or the Holy Spirit.

I don't believe in the TRINITY! The Bible texts that I'm going to mention contradict the Trinity teaching.
MATT.12:32 "AND WHOSOEVER SPEAKETH A WORD AGAINST THE SON OF MAN, IT SHALL BE FORGIVEN HIM: BUT WHOSOEVER SPEAKETH AGAINST THE HOLY GHOST, IT SHALL NOT BE FORGIVEN HIM, NEITHER IN THIS WORLD, NEITHER IN THE WORLD TO COME."
JOHN 14:28 "IF YE LOVED ME, YE WOULD REJOICE, BECAUSE I SAID , I GO UNTO THE FATHER: FOR MY FATHER IS GREATER THAN I."
1COR.11:3 "BUT I WOULD HAVE YOU KNOW THAT THE HEAD OF EVERY MAN IS CHRIST; & THE HEAD OF THE WOMAN IS THE MAN; AND THE HEAD OF CHRIST IS GOD."
LUKE 18:19 "AND JESUS SAID UNTO HIM, WHY CALLEST THOU ME GOOD? NONE IS GOOD, SAVE ONE, THAT IS, GOD."
****SEVERAL OTHER TEXTS SAY THERE'S ONLY TWO PERSONS:
1COR.1:3; 8:6; 1TIM.1:2; 2:5; GAL.1:3; PHILIPP.1:2; ROM.1:7; 2COR.1:2-3; 1THESS.1:1; 2THESS.1:2; 2TIM.1:2; PHILEMON 1:3; 1PETER 1:3; 2PETER 1:2; 1JOHN 1:3; 2JOHN 1:3.

Also why I don't believe in the TRINITY is because it says in the KJV that the false church will cast all the truth to the ground (Daniel 8:12). I happen to know this false church because all the world(Matt.7:13) has followed it (Rev.12:9; 13:3,12) except for one church (Acts 20:28).

Oh Elliott, Elliott. Let me clear this up for you.
He was the son, but he was also the father - there was also this kind of uncle, the holy ghost, who was also the father and the son.
This is why sometimes Jesus said "Bless me, me," which was very confusing to those who weren't in on the salvation thing. There are also several mistranslations that cause further confusion. For instance, when he was on the cross his real words were obviously, "Me! Me! Why have I forsaken me?"

I don't think that was ever the case. Jesus had flaws. He was a human being. His job was to prove that God exists. Yet, my question for you is, how can Jesus be greater than God? Jesus died, did God?

If Zeus can be greater than his father Kronos then the son of god can be more powerful than the father.

furthermore, If God is the Father and also the Son, He would then be the Father of Himself because He is His own Son. This is illogical!

Because he is the begotten son of God. Begotten in the Greek means the only one of it's kind. He has the exact genes of God, but he is in human form, flesh.
