I rather meet up at a coffee shop, or do something active. Dinner feels too formal, it's almost like an anniversary. What do you think?

depends where he takes you lol. I know i probably wouldn't take my first date to the Cheesecake Factory but a local diner and movie or something would be nice.

It is also nice to try something active. It give you something to do if you and the other person are shy and don't talk alot. It could reduce awkward moments.

a million. i do not imagine you're overreacting, yet you need to undergo in concepts that individuals forget issues often times. you're out of sight and in no way in conserving jointly with her as commonly (and sure, I do imagine which skill she ought to take your dates extra heavily yet!) so she takes care of her acquaintances. 2. She'll be making waiting for a suitable dinner 2 hours in the previous. undesirable theory. The dinner itself probable is not merely with Bob - this may be some thing that she did not get invited to, and going with Bob is the merely way she receives there. perhaps it might want to provide her with significant connections for her occupation course. confer jointly with her about it and make different plans. Does she ever ensue at your college? If not, perhaps she ought to objective so she will see how puzzling that's for you. She may be seeing this as a one-way highway, and she or he's not waiting that you need to ensue yet. Ask her to fulfill you halfway.

Go out and do some activity before you have dinner to loosen things up between you. It will also give you something in common to talk about during dinner.
