Go up to him, ask him what he doing on Xday, and tell him that you wanted to do so-and-so and wanted to know if he wanted to come along.

You just need to be brave and ask him out the only thing he can say is no. But if you don't want to do that wright him a letter telling him how you feel and then ask him out. DEE DEE DEE!!!
