Where is here? Basically as I see it, you have two choices, either break up or try for a long distance relationship. Why are you moving to Florida? Is this going to be a permanent move for you? More importantly, how does you boyfriend feel about the situation? This is something the two of you should discuss, unfortunately waiting until the last minute makes it harder, but not much else you can do.

It really depends on what you want to happen if you want a long distance relationship or not. If the move is permant and hes not going to move than it would probaly just be a good idea to be just friends and then if you end up together again than you know its ment to be, but make sure to talk to him before you leave. And ask him what he wants to do. Also it might be hard for both of you not to get interested in new people when you move.

If you are young, break up with him. I know it will hurt, but is a long distance relationship really feasible? It probably won't work. Break up on a good note, and you can still keep in touch and be friends. Tell him that he has a nice place to go on vacation now and he can come and see you. If you are leaving tomorrow, you two should of talked things over by now.

How old are you? Under 18? Move on. 99% of romances don't last when the people involved are under 18. Sorry, that sounds like I don't care but it's the truth. Over 18? Go to college in the same area or same school. Either way- get out and meet some new people!!!

You can try methods to keep in touch like e-mail, AIM, Yahoo Messenger, snail mail or sending special packages through the mail. Obviously there's still the ability to talk on the phone and visit one another, too.

A lot of people will say long distance relationships don't work, but if you're both dedicated and devoted to one another, you shouldn't have any trouble.

Accept the reality and either let go of the relationship or keep it going long distant. But talking about it with him and deciding what's best for the both of you is the smart thing to do.

Good luck, I know it's hard. I had a 4 year long distance relationship.

I was in the same situation when I was leaving for college. I was in Florida and had to move to Ohio. We tried to have a long distance relationship, but, the distance was too long. It was better for us to go our separate ways and stay friends. She still lives in Florida and I still live in Ohio. Good Luck!

Ask your friend if you're able to continue your relationship together and if he's willing to move to Florida. If you decide to break up, leave the doors open for the future. Who knows, you may get together again later.

question is confusing so will try to guess what you mean. If you mean how do you keep in touch, lots of ways you can do that these days--incl. videocam. If you mean, should you continue the relation, ask yourself if you could continue long-distance romance---will depend upon how often you two can visit.

True love does not recognize distances.
