Honey, you do know what they say right? LOVE MAKES SOME PEOPLE BLIND! You need to wake up an smell the coffee. Man, this asshole cheated on you, played with your feelings and broke your heart? Call me crazy, but NOBODY deserves that, not even if they are blind from love. Take the sweet guy. He cherishes you and will give you the attention that you want from the so called jerk. Don't do this to yourself. Men can be ASSHOLES, but WOMEN can be STUPID. You choose. Take care, and the best of luck!

Personally it really don't matter cause in the long run they all end up acting like a jerk anyway, it's just that u can see the jerks side already and the sweet guys jerky side didn't come out yet. But by that story u should quit the old jerk and get with the new soon 2 b jerk.

Neither...the reason you don't like the nice guy as much is because you still have feelings for the jerk. You need to spend time alone and get over the jerk before being with anyone else. if the nice guy is still around then, then go for it. If not, your not losing anything. Whatever you do, don't go for the jerk....he will never change and as long as you let him treat you like that, he will.

I won't tell you one or the other. I'll tell you forget the jerk; he's all but forgotten you. If you love being treated like dirt, then go for it. But remember, he'll cheat on you again and again. Maybe you can find someone else, someone not too sweet and not a jerk.
But dump the jerk, the one good thing about him, is that he has not hit you.....yet.
Did you tell him you were travelling 4,500 miles... and if so, dump him from your life.

Idiot! The sweet guy of course!!!... I kept running after the jerk & then one day I finally woke up & realized the sweet guy I kept being a jerk to was actually the one for me! Why he kept being nice to me when I was so mean to him I'll never know but I'm the luckiest woman to have him in my life. Sometimes the nice guy does finish 1st, we've been married 3 yrs now & have a 7month old boy. And to think I almost ended up with the jerk, who, I later heard, ended up in prison for 8mos. Hmmm, that could've been my life!!

Your question already answered itself. Logically you go out with the nice guy but you know you aren't going to do that. Logically you should break up with the jerk, but instead you are traveling 4,500 miles to be with him. My advice is drop the both of them and keep looking neither one is really right for you but you seem pretty set on the jerk and that is probably where you are going to stay.

I am sorry but the jerk is way over you so you need to move on enjoy your life you deserve to be happy too. Don't even call him anymore he is so not worth your time and if he gives you time he will just use you for sex. He really doesn't like you the jerk trust me. this has happened to me before granted I only traveled 1 hour to see someone who I was so in love with who just made fun of me and ignored me and also lead me on at one time. Sweetie be happy move on.

Maybe you should find a new guy. The jerk won't change, and you deserve better. If you don't have strong feelings for the sweet guy it's not fair to him.

listen i didnt even read the whole details, but the answer is obvious to me considering i used to be like this guy, he is totally playing you, and you are giving him the opportunity, now when you first met him you were probably so intrieged by "him", and the reason for the quotes is because it wasnt really him you were intriged or amazed by it was this character he was playing this nice guy, you really should have left at the first sign of any dicripancy, but since you didnt he realized how blind and weak you were that he continued, and the more you prolong this relationship its gonna make his behavior and actions ratonal so open your eyes and do something
