Don't hit your dog so she cries! I had the same problem with my dog Mocha. I would suggest you put up an invisible fence or get an extra extra extra long leash and tie it to a post. Most of all, give rewards for good things, and try not be so hurtful for the bad things. You don't want your dog to not like you anymore! Good luck!

Give the dog to someone that will not hit it until it cries, what is wrong with you??? Why would a dog come to you if you hit it so hard it causes enough pain to make it cry. Take it to the SPCA or a shelter ,just don't beat the animal

spanking a dog doesnt work, because they associate the pain with you, not with what they did wrong. The best thing to do is always keep her inside, in a fence, on a leash, or invest in one of thos eradio fences. In my experience a dog that has had a taste of freedom will always try to run, no matter how good you are to them.

Leash her to somewhere in the house. Keep her bowl and food all in the same area. Once the dog gets used to one area for a while, they shouldn't want to leave that area that they are used to.

If that doesn't work, then restrict the dog from going outside anyway you can.

Electric fence, sounds harsh but it doesn't hurt them and will teach them not to run away.
