When I got married my MIL gave me an alfredo sauce recipe that is sooo much work and $$$ BUT hehe... I cheat!! Take a small can of evaporated milk, heat it with a stick of butter and then when it's good and hot put your cheese in. It's awesome and my hubby can't tell the difference!

Grill the Chicken
Buy it Pre cooked
However you like it

8 cups Cooked noodles

Alfredo Sauce
1 cup real butter
1 cup whipping cream
1 cup grated Parmesan from your grocer deli, not the canned crap.
2 cloves garlic, chopped.

In a medium skillet, melt enough butter to coat the pan. Over medium heat cook the chopped garlic till light brown or tender. In the skillet, melt the rest of the butter, add cream. When almost boiling add cheese. When the cheese is all melted add the noodles. Top with chicken.

Sometimes instead of chicken I use shrimp. I saute the shrimp with the garlic. I set the garlic and shrimp aside and add back at the end.

Do you want a scratch recipe?? Add to details if so.
Otherwise,
Buy chicken breasts, fettucini, and alfredo sauce.
Broil the chicken with pepper, salt, and red pepper flakes until done. Boil water and heat sauce. Cut chicken into chunks and serve. Add veggies (frozen or fresh) for more nutrition.

The easest way is to buy a premade sause, grill the chicken and serve all together with angel hair pasta, or linguini.

The other way is to start with butter (or clarified butter) heat with smashed fresh garlic, until garlic is golden, then slowly add ROOM temp cream or half and half, throw in some parmazian cheese and finish with fresh basil/salt/pepper.

If you have trouble making gravy or thickening any sause take a stick of butter and one spoonfull of flour, mix into a thick thick paste and ad a pinch of it to the sause to thicken. This substance is called Berm-man-yeah, but I do not know the correct spelling.
