You are just ignorant beyond belief!!! Mexico is not a craphole. If it was, it would not be a destination for many tourists. The idea that all mexicans work hard is a generalization but that does not mean there aren't mexicans who work hard. My parents worked very hard to give me the best education they could and that they could not have. Judging by your spelling and ignorance i don't think i could say the same for you. Most immigrants who come here, come for a better opportunity so they can support the family they left behind. They take on jobs that pay low wages and that others refuse to do. Would you prefer that they steal??? All they want to do is make a decent living. If the United States of America no longer wants to be the land of immigrants, then we should all start packing our bags and let the native americans have their land back. Please do us all a favor and get yourself educated before you make remarks such as yours.

Of course Mexicans work hard, but as Octavio Paz said (he's a Mexican Noble Prize winner for literature), Americans live to work, but Mexicans work to live. That tendency leads to a certain relaxation about things and a slower pace of life. I don't think Mexico is a craphole. It's a beautiful country with an amazing history and great people. It's just different, that's all. I'd suggest that instead of labeling another culture as a craphole and jumping to conclusions, why don't you try a bit of understanding and kindness? It can't hurt you.

You're retarded. Hard work doesn't always equal a better life or good pay. A good example is, oh, let's say EMTs. Many go to school to get an A.S. degree which runs about 11k only to get a job that saves lives and serves the community, but pays very little considering what an EMT does. A new EMT wages are BELOW POVERTY LEVEL. This is just an example. This hard working EMT probably works very hard, makes crap wages, but probably struggles financially and could very well live in a crappy neighborhood and drive a crappy car. Like I said, how hard doesn't always equal a better life or good pay. This also applies to teachers, firefighters, even police officers in many states. Many jobs where you help people and better your community don't pay as well as one might think, and the people that do that type of work are not usually what one would consider not a hard worker or lazy.

You're an idiot. Being that ignorant should be painful.

minimum salary in Mexico is ridiculous, the government expect that people can live with $109.00 USD a month.
Some companies pay more than that but other companies are as miserable as the government, and now if this guy Andres Manuel Lopez wins the elections Mexico will be like Venezuela or Cuba.
That is why Mexicans prefer to work here, even if they are treated like they were criminals.

The same could be said for Africa

but it doesn't work like that...

America has the highest GDP in the entire world. America makes the money that allows our country to be the best in the world. Mexico just doesn't have the infrastructure, jobs, money to become a better country.

They don't work hard on their own system. They do not have strong leaders. They want the easy way out. Their poor are not the ones coming the I want more are (very few of the poor can make it). You right there is plenty to build and resources there-but it would require more than most what to give especially when it is so easy here. If it were not-than maybe they would stand up there,

Mexico is a wealthy country. According to world bank, Mexico ranks 12th in the world in regard to GDP and the fourth largest per capita income in Latin America.

The Mexican government don't take care of its poors, and encourage its poor people to migrate to the United States where they can get free medical and free education.
