Girl, you can wear whatever you want. It's your wedding. Besides, the dress will probably cover most of the shoes so the colour doesn't matter that much.
Personally, I think it's more stylish to have your shoes match the colour theme. It would look gorgeous.

You don't have to wear any specific type of shoe. It especially doesn't matter if you can't see the shoes under the dress. If they are visible- then you need to have a friend snap some pics of you in the dress w/ the colored shoes you like. Just so you can see what they will actually look like. It may change your mind.
Good Luck!

hi Kaye, As an element-time wedding ceremony planner, I quite have considered fairly some dress/shoe combos, lots of which look to artwork fairly properly. I do imagine, even with the undeniable fact that, that white shoes bypass dazzling with a white dress and ivory shoes artwork properly with an ivory dress. if you're fairly connected to the cute white shoes, why no longer dye them to examine the marriage dress?

I've seen brides wear combat boots with their wedding dress. Wear whatever color or type of shoes you like. It's your day.

Went to a wedding once and the bride's favorite color was red. She wore red sequin shoes under her dress and when she left she had a red cape she draped around her. Make your wedding unique to your likings. It is your day do whatever you want.

It's appropiate to wear anything these days. My now sister-in-law wore a pair of Birkenstocks that belonged to her sister...they were close in age and had the same size foot, her sister had died not long back and it was her way of having her in the wedding with her. Anyway, I would say go for it...it's your wedding :o)

Generally, shoes are the same color as the wedding dress, so they blend in. Make sure they are comfortable because you'll be spending alot of time on the dance floor with them on.

It's your day you can do whatever you want.
I'm going barefoot for my wedding. We're getting married on the beach at dusk. I'll carry a small bouquet and I'll have a garland of flowers around my ankle. Sweet & simple.

That is absolutely your choice. You could wear whatever you feel most comfortable in. Just remember that the guests would see color before they see white, but then again who will be looking at your feet!! Congratulations!!!!
