The Essenes, Rosicrucians, Mormons (LDS), and Gnostics, and the Christians before the Council of Nicaea 325 CE believe that the spirit of the Lord dwelled in Jesus but not that Jesus WAS God. Such a belief, that Jesus was God, smacked to them of paganism. Arius said so, and of course was banished.

Why would you worship Jesus Christ as God?
He is the SON of God. How can you call him God if the Bible clearly states that he is the SON of God? They're not equal. God created Jesus. God created everything. I don't understand why people always confuse Jesus as God.

Those groups existed before the Council of Nicea when Christian politicians voted on whether Jesus was the son of God or not. You already know politicians can be totally trusted right??

I dont really understand ur question, b/c Jesus and God are 2 different Souls. John 3:16, and I quote God so loved the world that he sent his only begotten son Jesus Christ.

yes there are. i'd read about them somewhere last year but don't remember the source. google it maybe u'll find something. but i know there is a smart group like that. there is only one God, and that is the foundation of all of the three revealed monotheistic religions judaism, christianity and islam, whatever people claim. Jesus himself told his followers to worship God alone.

No - but there are non christian groups who do. To be Christian means that you believe Jesus was fully God and fully man.
I know JW's consider Jesus "a" God, not God. I'm pretty sure they don't claim to be "Christian" and christians don't consider them to be either.

Jesus being God is the reason why someone is a Christian, so unless they are not true Christians, I would say no.

I don't think any real christians worship christ. Worship God. Don't be simple minded about this, it's a good question. Jesus purpose is to lead us to His GOD.
