Why do I feel so depressed all the time?! I hate this feeling. Nothing is making me happy anymore! Everything I do is wrong.... I can't help but feel so bad all the time.

My Happy Poem
just for you...

So here it is,
The happy one.
Today I'll have a bit of fun.

A rhapsody.
A melody.
My opus and my symphony.

A delectable, delightful treat.
A candy, oh, a wicked sweet.

My soul.
A stroll.
Completely droll.
Delightfully out of control.

So here you go.
My vertigo.
My trip through miles and miles of snow.

Hold on tight.
Don't try to fight.
My happy poem,
Just drips delight

Like honey from a child's tongue,
Or whispers of the aging young.

A lullaby that makes you cry,
The tears of happy years gone by.

Watch your step,
The path is steep,
So take a breath before you leap

Into a world of endless bliss,
As charming as a baby's kiss.

And right when you arrive right there,
You'll never leave.
It's true.
I swear.

My world,
My truth.
My universe.
My haven in my merry verse.

It welcomes you,
With open arms.
You're flattered by its mirthful charms.

So stay awhile.
Right in the shade
Of the happiest poem
I've ever made.

Look on the positive side of life. There must be something that can make you smile. Life sucks, but keep in mind that there are always people who love you. And hates you. Keep in mind that this makes your life interesting. It's how you choose to react to the situation that will affect your emotions. So you choose the wise thing to do in order for you to not feel depressed all the time.

Do you have a history of depression in your family? This is a real medical problem there is help available. Have you recently had a child? Could be postpartum depression. If none of these apply, have the doctor run some blood work to check hormone levels. These affect the depression level. Again there is help available, please seek it. Good luck and God bless!!

I can not answer your question, for I do not know your cicumstances. I feel same way though. Life has dealt me some bad hands (see my posts) my parents are at an advanced age and have many health issues, my best friend perished in a tragic car wreck late last year....
I have tried many things...antidepressants, professional counseling...you know what though? Posting on here...there are many people who are really genuinely concerned and they give great answers! In the meantime, post here...talk with friends...seek help...there are many toll free numbers and websites to guide us...good luck and hang in there!

Are you on some kind of pills? Antibiotics, birth control? Some of them have depression as a side effect. Or it may be just chemical imbalance in your body. Surround yourself with people who care about you and talk to them-tell them how you feel. They will help you through this.
