how do i put God first in my life? i still dont understand why tho?

and how do i break the limitation i have on God?

ok 1st of all the way you put God 1st in ur life, is you give him all the glory for what he may have blessed u with in ur life, u also cannot worship any other kind of thing, like money, job, anything like that, and worship doesnt always mean getting down on ur knees ya know the whole bit, like a lot of people believe, its just letting it consume ur life, and your mind, that way it is always good to have quiet time everyday, and im not sure what u mean by limitations, if u mean like in some religions like catholisism (im not sure thats spelled right) they believe that the preists can only ask for peoples forgiveness from God, but really every single person can talk to God in the same way, no one is more important to God than another, if you have anymore ?'s please do not hesitate to message me, if i dont know the answer to ur problem i will find out for you and give you the best possible answer i can.

Well, it's hard to put God first in your life if you don't know why or have a lot of limitations. It's completely normal to have those and not understand why, but the first step is to learn. Talk to your spiritual leaders, but above all, find out for yourself. Read the scriptures and work to apply their principles in your life. As you do so, you will come to understand that it brings you peace and true happiness. Then you will come to understand why people put God first: because it brings them joy and peace. It's really the only way to get joy and peace in this life. Good luck, and remember that your relationship with God is yours alone and is an intensely personal thing. If you put God first - He will provide------- for you
If you put other things first..-- they will consume you to some degree and leave you unfulfilled. That is what is wrong with marriage today--People are depending on a person to meet All their needs and when they don't get what they want, they take them to court and sue and try to take everything away because they are empty without God-- what per centage of people are we talking about .....

First you need to ask Jesus to be your Lord and Saviour, then you need to repent of all your sins .Then you need to find a good christian church that preaches the truth from the bible,that doesnt compromise, or just give you feel good messages all the time. Living for Jesus is all about dying to what our sinfull flesh wants, reading our bible everyday and praying,talking to Jesus knowing that he hears us when our hearts are sincere. Find true christian friends. Remember alot of people say they believe in Jesus, or they love him, but you will know for sure by the way they live. Living a true christian life is not easy the way the world is now.Live by Gods Holy words, get a bible commentary to help you understand the bible . Its not always easy, there will be struggles,but ther is no better way to live then for Jesus. That's a good question.
It takes devotion and dedication and not too many people can do it easily. We are all fallen and will most likely continue to stumble in our walk with God.

Join a church. Get involved in a small group (Sunday school, Bible study, etc.) Do daily quiet time. Have an accountability partner. Keep a positive attitude. Pray without ceasing.

God wants all of you, that is the part that most people can't take. All God wants is a relationship with you, a "parental" sort of relationship, for lack of a better term. He is LORD, but He is also your Father. To truly put God first, you must not let anything in this world come between you and Him. Also, to break the limitation, that is tough. But we must in every situation and circumstance, let God take care of it all, pray to Him and ask Him what to do. Let Him move, and you watch. You must also trust, believe and have faith that He will take care of it for you.

As human beings, we have this tendency to rationalize everything that surrounds us. It is in our nature. It's what makes us human. Now if you just try to go beyond reason and take a leap of faith toward God, then it will open your eyes and heart to what God can do and has been doing for you all your life.
