For people saying that 'Christians don't play the blame game', this concept has been the major cause of 'Christian' antisemitism over the years - viz. 'The Passion of the Christ' and a million other examples. Until the Nostra Ætate of 1965, it was the Catholic Church's position to hold the Jews guilty of deicide. Judas has always been seen as the villian of Jesus's story. The whole story seems to show Jesus as a fugitive in hiding, unwilling to die.

And yet, as you point out, it was all meant to be predetermined. God decided that Jesus would be sent to earth and he died to save us all - willingly.

And I agree that this dichotomy doesn't make any sense whatsoever.

Jesus Christ gave up his life willingly. Christians don't play the blame game. He was Jewish, and at that time, there were Jewish and Roman people. If one didn't, then it must be the other. The Roman were the ruling government at that time, and some Jewish people saw him as a threat to their leadership, and wanted him out of the way, so they accused him falsely. No one is playing games, nor blaming others. He was Jewish accused by one of his own, taken to the Roman to crucify him, and get him out of the way.
By the way, at that time, they use Crucifixion to prolong the pain and suffering, and also gave people a chance to see what happens to them, they were as a example to all to see. Just like hanging people, only hanging is much merciful than crucifixions, and Jesus was not the only one who was crucified, but many other more, before, after and during.

Christians don't really believe what the Bible says, anyway. Jesus prayed in the garden of Gethsemane that "this cup be taken from me." Does that sound like a WILLING sacrifice? Sounds to me like Jesus would rather have been anywhere but there, yet Christians keep saying how he died willingly. If so, why did he bother praying not to die??

Even assuming he was willing, so what? I would ask the question, If Jesus came to EArth to die for all man's sins, then why is man still sinning? Why has nothing changed? Why are humans as sinful now as they were then? If Jesus' sacrifice takes away the sins of the world, then there shouldn't be any sins in the world because they've been taken away. If Jesus took the punishment that we deserved, then we shouldn't still be punished for our sins. Christians have to tie themselves in knots to explain all these silly concepts. I reject all of it as nonsense.

Christains should not play the blame game (those who do are wrong). Technically we are all to blame becasue every human being who ever existed (except Jesus) has sinned in some way, thus we are all to blame. But Jesus died for us becasue He loves us. We have no right to blame anyone. The bible even says, "Forgive others as Christ forgave you."

because christians like to play the blame game. at times in history they've needed a scapegoat...so they decided accusing people of killing jesus would be a good way to turn the general public against them. it worked too.

If you are on this site long enough you will find out that there are a lot of people who:
1. Take verses out of context
2. Tell out right lies
3. Give historical "falsehoods" instead of "facts"
4. Make statements they know nothing about.

This goes for "Christians" as well as every other group.

Ignorance is a dangerous thing to unthinking people.

Most don't (thanks for using the word some)...those that do have been forgiven but have not let God change them yet. There is a verse in the Bible that says that asks Christians to (in modern English) "let the mind and attitude of Christ become yours." To do this is a choice and takes work. Those who play the blame game haven't done this yet.

I have never the blame game played, but Jesus gave his life freely, he could have called ten thousand angels to rescue him if he would have wanted to. It was all of our fault that Jesus died. I love him for caring enough to die for me.

I have never heard a Christian play a blame game.
If they did, they simply don't know.

Jesus Christ laid His life down for us. He fulfilled prophecy.

Jesus did the most ultimate commitment. He set the example of "Servant unto God, and follow commandments".

How was Jesus maliciously murdered for no reason?

Jesus Said: Not every one that saith unto me, Lord, Lord, shall enter into the kingdom of heaven; but he that doeth the will of my Father which is in heaven.
So I guess that means not everyone who says they are Christians really are.
