what are some good books to help me understand the bible?

ive read the bible but im looking for a way to understand it better.

Did I say anything about being a jehovas witness? Why would I want to look into any of that then? and do you really expect me to read that post? I dont even think you wrote it... it looks copies and pasted.

The Catechism of the Catholic Church, though it's rather dry reading, explains hundreds of important concepts in religion, justifying nearly all of them from the Bible. It's available cheap in paperback versions at chain bookstores. I highly recommend it.
