The Catechism of the Catholic Church, though it's rather dry reading, explains hundreds of important concepts in religion, justifying nearly all of them from the Bible. It's available cheap in paperback versions at chain bookstores. I highly recommend it.

this could be extra effective than your question asked yet i'm hoping that is sensible. once I do my religious study i exploit: the recent solid's Exhaustive Concordance of the Bible and the recent solid's better Dictionary of Bible words. the two books have been very valuable. They take the English words back to the Hebrew or the Greek languages which i come across supplies extra constructive know-how. I additionally initiate my study with prayer for know-how, I ask God to open my eyes, make my recommendations alert and my coronary heart receptive to His truths; to have His Spirit lead, handbook and direct me; in Jesus call. while interpreting a financial disaster I study verse by using verse consistently conserving the project in recommendations. i've got in no way study Wild at coronary heart by using John Eldegre yet while what John Eldegre has written could be documented in God's word, then that is all solid!

I studied the bible for years, after confessing to the Lord that I had not loved his word, as I should, asking for forgiveness as well as for healing.
I found it good to read it out loud, as well I admitted to God & myself i did not understand it and prayed for help.
I have used concordances and dictionaries as well.
