I will here paste the quote from a Bio of Lafayette: His last words were, "Je sous ve toute ou."

Yes, this is in the Wikipedia article.
However, in the "discussion" section of the article, it says: "The article states La Fayette's last words were 'Je sous ve toute ou.' I'm inclined to delete this as there's no citation for it and the French is gibberish. (My translation is 'I under ve all or'. 'Ve' isn't in my Petit Robert dictionary -- is it a misspelling or an archaic word?) A google search turns up a different 'last words' (http://www.trivia-library.com/a/famous-last-word-part-2.htm)."
According to the cited URL, Lafayette's last words were : "What do you expect? Life is like the flame of a lamp; when there is no more oil--zest! It goes out, and it is all over."

Je = I
sous = under (could be suis = am)
ve = not a word (could be vu = seen, ne = not, le = the...many things)
toute = all / every (feminine form)
ou = or (could also be où with an accent = where)
This makes no sense the way it's written in Wikipedia.

perhaps you have some words wrong...what you have written is " I under ve all or" which clearly makes no sense...perhaps the Marquis said "je souviens toute" I remember all.

This has no translation because it's incomprehensible. I know that this is what is listed on Wikipedia, but it doesn't make any sense. There is no verb and ve is not a word.
