It's funny how those are completely ignorant. Before you put negatives, put the reasons, why they were done. A.) When God let the serpent do that to Eve, He was giving her the choice, to do what she knew was right, or what was wrong. He gave her a choice, much like you have now. B.) The entire world was in sin. If people would have listened to noah and not been ignorant, then they would have been saved. C.) God was sending Pharoah a sign. Pharoah had been warned many times and yet, nothing....ignorance. And so on and so forth. Read the scriptures before you make statements as you do.

I think of the choices provided I would have to say the one about Noah and the flood. It is a picture of the sinful world. And How God saved all those who wanted to be saved. That big boat was there, and all that wished to enter could have. But they didn't... they loved there sin too much, so they perished.
All those peoples could have been saved if they had only entered the safety of the ark. That is a picture of Jesus. He died on the cross, and made a way for all to be saved. All they have to do is accept him and accept his gift for them. Accept the "ark". They have to enter into the safety of Jesus Christ.
Seriously though, I think your question would be termed slanted and biased. You have cited stories that you don't even know about... stated your reason why you think it happened... and left it at that. Why didn't you put any of the really "cool" stories of the Bible on your list? Seriously... when I was reading your list, I was wondering whether you and I were reading out of the same Bible... You don't know anything about any of those stories, do you?

I like the one where the religious leaders of the church still didnt believe Jesus was the son of God, and many still dont believe Him! You need to read why God did those things, if you had children and they did bad things do you not punish them? Pharoah did not listen to God when Moses delivered the message and all those things came true. God said them and Pharoah was stubborn and said no. You would have probably done the same right? Some people never change

G. none of the above. I like the one where Jesus died on the cross, a terrible terrible death, so that we may all go to heaven. He didnt have to do this, but he did it out of his love for us. The stories you are talking about are all from the old testiment, before the birth of Jesus Christ. Also the stories are all from times when the people turned away from God,after given many oppprtunites to do the right thing. Would you sacrifice your child for people not even born yet?

You have issues. All of these have good things behind them, but you just want to make God seem bad, when he is good.
In A.) God gave them a choice
In B.) The people were so evil that Hitler would have been better than them.
In C.) Pharaoh was enslaving God's people and not letting them go, so God warned Pharaoh and gave him a choice: to let the people go or to have ten plagues to persuade him. Pharaoh chose to be prideful and let the land almost parish.
In D.) Same as B.)
In E.) Let someone else answer
In F.) GOD IS NOT HATEFUL!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
And I think that you may die and go to hell. So sad.

All of the story's that you picked are a result to the disbelief and disobedience of man. They were punishments not story's to wish you could have the same power as GOD as is it was a game. The real story's that you speak of are not in any of the above. Story's include the birth of Jesus, Jesus be nailed to the cross, Resurrection of Jesus, changing water into wine., making the bread and fish in multitude and Jonah be swallowed by a whale. These are story's and parables written in the bible. Read and learn.

How about what happened to Lot AFTER his beloved wife became a pillar of salt. Seems the daughters that survived decided to get the old man drunk and fornicate with him in order to give him sons. Hmmm. This is interestingly told as if the girls thought it up all by themselves...sounds to me like a long long history of family incest. From the start of the story it is clear Lot is a bit of a weird bird. He's just hanging around the town gates and just happens to meet two beautiful men that he brings home and locks in. Now when the towns folk wanted to get their hands on these two complete strangers to Lot he said no freaking way am I giving you these two men I don't know...here take my virgin daughters for your carnal pleasure....WTF!!!??? I can't believe this story is half taught in every sunday school class in the world. It is repulsive and is used as fuel by the incestuous christian today to uphold his belief that God says it's ok to diddle your daughter for it is her duty.

Take another look at that comment by jeepwife4ever. Notice the wording: "false" teaching. Who exactly decides FOR US what's true and false. Is it freedom of thought, or some large group with a lot of followers and power bullying everyone else?
Follow the logic (Or lack of):
a) "We're the ONLY rightous people because the book says so."
b) "God wrote the book."
c) "The book was written by God because the book says so."

Because fire is awesome and I would love to see that!
But you are wrong, God doesn't hate anyone. He loves all of us so much we could never completely understand. But someday we will understand. For now, you can begin to understand by reading the entire stories in the proper context.
Blessings :)
