Is there a good "rule of thumb" on pricing items in a bake sale?

The bake sale is for a non-profit pregnancy help center.

Just follow what other bake items normally run in your area.
For example here a cupcake or bag of 4 cookies runs $.50 and a loaf of banana bread $5.00.

Hmm...I'd say that nothing should be over a dollar.
However, the things you know will sell well, like chocolate chip cookies(which only baked-good-hating-kitten-killing-mutant-Nazis hate), or rice krispie treats should go for 75 cents a piece, and the not so good things like lemon-covered carob squares(ugh..) maybe go for like...25-40 cents. But that's just me.
