CALL YOUR LOCAL S.P.C.A . AND TURN THEM IN. WHAT YOUR NEIGHBOR IS DOING IS A CRIME,AND IT NEEDS TO STOP. THERE IS NO EXCUSE FOR ABUSE TO AN ANIMAL

Actually if the pup has the right amount of food daily, water all the time and shelter then the SPCA wont do anything. Some places have little laws like in Canada. I recommend 2 things one take the pup behind there back and bring it to the SPCA that's not local or they might go back and get it. Or put up signs with this story and there address, someone out there might feel bad and buy it from them. Oh and 200 is NOT alot of money.

You need to call the nearest animal shelter as soon as possible and report this treatment. If you don't want to risk the puppy being put down you need to ask if the shelter puts the animals down or not. Some shelters don't put the dogs/cats down after so long. I'm sure that some one will want the puppy because the dog is small an can be trained.

I'll take it, where is it at?

YOU need to do something about this. That dog is going to die or be very angry and have to be put down eventually b/c these people won't give it even the smallest of basic needs. If you are a decent human being how can you stand by and watch this happen.

Quit typing and go next door, get the dog, give it a bath, food, water and most importantly L-O-V-E.

If you can't do it, take it to a non-kill shelter and give it a chance to live with a family that will love it and not neglect it.

I'm betting that the puppy has never had its shots or wormings, or county tags. All dogs are required to have rabies vaccine, and licenses by 6 months.
You can call SPCA in your county, and see if they will do a home check. The conditions you describe are inhumane by any county codes.
If they take the pup away, it will be cared for and then placed for adoption.
All reports are confidential. They usually just tell the owners that they are doing a routine check in the neighborhood.

Personally I would go steal the puppy... where do you live? these people should be shot... She should have talked to the girl before buying the puppy... how immature can a 14 year old be... call someone in animal control... or heck go next door and steal the puppy!

If it is serious enough, call the ASPCA or talk to deanna about it. Dogs need and love attention. Try telling her that you can find a good home for it.

Offer to buy the dog and get it a good home. You can report her for animal cruelty if the dog has no food, water or shelter - but otherwise, there's not much you can do. In America, people are legally allowed to be F%&*&*%G IDIOTS!

this sound like abuse to me. the animals laws say you must take responablity for your pet. i would call the animal police about this. or ask them if you could have the puppy. it would be a great company for you when you feel down. or up. since it will give you love

tell her that you will help her around the house to pay for the dog. that is so rediculous to treat a dog like that, the mother should know better, i hate that.
but tell her that you will do house work, or mow the lawn, anything you can do, and maybe she will realize that you want this dog so bad she will just give it to you. sounds like she is so tight she squeeks.
