The best way if you have no clue to write up a resume is to go online and simple type in "resume example" or "resume sample" in google or yahoo. It should show you what you need for a resume.

Little tips if you are an undergrad your resume should not pass one page. If you have two or more years of experience in the work field then two pages might be okay. I think 5 years or more requires two pages.

Get those samples as a guide; do not copy someone else's work, it is better to be original. That is what most interviewee look for. And proofread, proofread, proofread! You do not want all your credibility to wash down the drain within the first 5 seconds. Also, your name stand out in a unique way that separates you from the rest of your resume and that it stands out enough to separate you from the other applicants.

MS Word and other programs have resume templates you can use to help with the format of your resume.

As far as content - your resume must include contact information, education and job history.

While you can copy the format of someone else's resume - never copy the resume itself.

Get a good resume book from the library. There are different formats depending on your age and experience. You want to make your qualifications look great so choose the style that suits your background. If your experience is limited - choose a style that emphasizes your accomplishments rather than a chronological format.

Think about everything you've done. Include volunteer work and things you've done that show the qualities the person hiring is looking for.

For example - if you're looking for a job in a computer store - include that you've developed websites for yourself and family members, etc.

First - decide on the job you want. Then write the resume to suit that company and the position you're applying for.

For each company - change the information to suit the position - without lying.

Good luck and make sure you follow up with each prospective employer.
