"2.106": Whatever communications We abrogate or cause to be forgotten, We bring one better than it or like it. Do you not know that Allah has power over all things?

Abrogate: to annul or repeal a law in order to pass legislation that contradicts prior law

So, all you hav eto say is: "Dont you know Allah is able to do all things?" when you are caught in a contradiction .

NICE !

The Prophet Muhammad received an ongoing revelation over a period of 23 years. A lot happened in that 23 years. God is believed to have guided him in his battles, travels, and relations. Couldn't it be possible that God had a command that he wished everyone to follow for a set period of time, and then when the purpose of it was fulfilled, he abrogated it? Just a thought.
