When I state something I personally believe in, they responses I get from certain people who do not agree get very offended, why?

I don't see the western religion followers/spiritualists do this.

Why the arrogance?
We don't care how you feel about our choice, that's why the question wasn't referred to you. (Q: God is You)

I agree with you completely. That's why I don't post questions about what I believe. In most cases it is pointless. If I see a question that ties in with what I believe I will answer it to the best of my ability though.

And to your question, We are all manifestations of the ultimate consciousness. Some of us just choose to seperate ourselves from it. I guess they feel inferior or superior to it. Very strange.

I for one do no longer innovations questions, yet criticism of my ideals might situation me, every person has a good looking to an oppion and their very own ideals, that is basically while they inter fer with my stunning to have self belief what i desire that i'm getting upset occasion somebody tells me i'm loopy for believing there's a God with the aid of fact they are able to't see him, that to me could be like my telling an atheist they are loopy for no longer believing in him. you are right:god is you.but religious people get mad cause they want to be sure of their religion but when you don't agree they feel unsecure, they are not sure that what they believe is right, true or real.and remember:not even they saw their god! that's how if I tell you a story which I've heard but didn't see and you don't believe it.I will feel uncertain and shamed.just like they do.

As to my belief, it's an inside job. To seek the truth, you must find the truth for self. Self-examination, prayer and meditation. To quote the Buddha and his teachers:

Hands restrained,
feet restrained
speech restrained,
supremely restrained--
delighting in what is inward,
content, centered, alone:
he's what they call
a monk.

A monk restrained in his speaking,
giving counsel unruffled,
declaring the message & meaning:
sweet is his speech.

Everyone is entitled to their own opinion. You can make any statement and someone can disagree, but they shouldn't get offended. What Q was it? If it was someone saying that they are God...well...this is kinda nuts; there is only one God and that is being sacreligious. This is my opinion. Best wishes!

The same reason some people get rude and vulgar when a "Christian" states their belief.
We can disagree but we do not need to be rude to do it.
