Different people understand the ethics of sex differently. Is sex before marriage ethical? Some would say no, others yes. So you need some absolute point of reference to define ethical or not-ethical in a sexual relationship.
In my reading of the Bible, it doesn't condemn much. It says that sex before marriage isn't the best idea a couple ever had, but the penalty is they have to get married. So, basically, the penalty for having sex too soon is more sex with the same person for the rest of your life. I'm serious, look it up! The Bible never openly condemns polygamy, except for elders or whatnot in the New Testament. I suppose that would mean the result of a threesome would be having to be together like you were married? But you weren't asking what the Bible has to say, you were asking if it's ethical. That's just one starting point people use to define sexual ethics.
My personal point of view is that no one should be allowed to judge themselves. It then becomes a matter of figuring out who the judge for your sexual behavior is. In my opinion, that's what marriage is all about: you get to be your spouse's partner in judging right from wrong in sexual matters. They also get to be your judge on pre-marital sexual matters. That means, if your spouse or future spouse doesn't care, I don't care. Others base their ethics on a tradition of culture, which says only married sex with the one you're married to. To them, never ethical.
So I guess the answer is it depends on who defines your ethics.

It's ethical as long as all three partners involved are OK with it, as far as I'm concerned as long as something doesn't either takeadvantage of or harm someone/thing than it's as close to ethical as we can get.
Make sure that you and your partner (if you have one) agree on the threesome, and make sure that the person that you have enter into your sexual life is someone you BOTH like and are extremely comfortable with.
If it's just you and a couple of people that you arn't partners with then make sure you are prepared, threesomes can get out of hand in some senses and you have to be wary of disease.
All and all just make sure that everyones comfortable with it, and then just have fun.

3 some, hummmm never did that before.
Once it with a woman and 2 men or 1 man 2 women.
It may be a good experience in sex, but you have to make sure your pathners are clean(no virus) n only you 3, no other pathners.
Life is to live, to venture new things but be careful.

Ethical? I don't know. You have to really contemplate that one. What if eventually the three-some turns into just your partner & the other one wanting to have sex alone???? Then was it worth it?

has nothing to do with ethics, has to do with consenting adults enjoying each others' company...and if all expectations are understood, can be a fun thing...rigth or wrong depends on you and the way you live your life, if you are not hurting anyone, who are we to judge
