Most of the major hotels have shuttle buses.
They can be rather expensive, there are cheaper options available to you... if you dont have unlimited funds.

I would recommend the Hyatt Parkland in Samsung (near Kang Nam) I stayed there a couple of weeks ago, and the service is impeccable. Its also relatively new (last year).
As for the others, im sure they are nice...

There are airport buses EVERYWHERE so if you stayed in a motel or what have you, there is always a way to get to the airport. I use them anytime I need to get to the airport, because its so far from Seoul.

Most hotels in Seoul have their own shuttle bus, and if they do not, there are commercial airport buses that will come by the hotel. Just ask at the front desk. Korea has a pretty good bus system.

From Seoul to Incheon Airport on a bus will run you about $17.

A lot of Americans stay at the Capitol Hotel near Yongsan Army Garrison (and it is near Itaewon, which I personally think is a dump).

The hotel that has a Shuttle Bus Service from the hotel - airport - hotel; is the Hyatt Regency Incheon, it is approximately 3 miles from the airport. (This hotel is far from Seoul : Appro: 38 miles)

You can try their website www.hyattregencyincheon.com

Like this hotel is very far from Seoul, you can try any of these tranportation systems: ( From the hotel to Seoul)
1. Ferry
2. Railway
3. Taxi
4. Bus
5. Limousine

These system of transportation are avaivable, the cost is appoximatly $5 - $40 : Depending on what you are going.

The best option is that you take your valid Driving License and rent a car a the airport : There's Avis, Hertz & Kumho Rent A Car.
It will be the best option, a nice, comfortable and good car will cost you about $30 a day, but you can get a cheaper fare if you rent it for a week, and the cheapest fare if you rent it for 1 month.

After you had rented the card, try to buy a tourist guide, and a map of Seoul, it will be very helpful; that will help you to find good and cheap hotels, malls, shopping centers, restaurants, Night-Life sites etc.

So try it: Have a nice trip!! And remember me overthere!

Regards

The best place to stay is the Holiday Inn or better yet at a guest house in Seoul. There is a very nice and affordable guest house in Downtown Seoul near Insedong. Look at the Korean Travail Boards website for guest house. As for the shuttle. You can catch the an airport shuttle at the airport and in Seoul for about 20000 Won or about $20USD. When your in Seoul make sure you go to The Folk Village, Suwan Gated City, Insidong (For Korean Tea, OH-ME-Ja-Cha, is the best tea) and Olympic Park.

The Holiday Inn in the Mapo part of Seoul is very close to everything. it is also the first stop on the main shuttle (run by Korean Air) from the airport. The shuttle costs around $10. Here is the hotel's website:

Another website, that I love, for booking rooms in Asia is:
http://www.asiarooms.com
This site has many reviews from guests.

For the life of me, I cannot remember the name of the hotel. But once you go through customs and you get out of the airport, there is an information desk. Ask them. They will call the shuttle bus and it will take you to the hotel (from memory, there are several). It takes about 15 minutes to the hotel.
