Are you from the Bay Area? I have often wondered that myself. At every event where there is nudity - the people that are nude are the people you pray would put on some clothes.

I guess people really need attention, want to revel in their right to be naked *because they can* or get off on being exhibitionistic. Whatever their reason, I wish they would visit a gym and get to the point of at least average.

If you're referring to the way children dress these days...That's damn near nude. I think it's because of low self esteem they think it's the only way to attract little boys (giving away the goods). As my mom said, "Why buy the cow if you can get the milk for free". You can bet my kids won't be dressing like that.

For some it's an expression of themselves. Being free and as nature intended. Free of the constraints of what's expected of them and, also, how the world views them. Some like the attention simply for the attention. For many though, if you've got it; flaunt it.

a.k.a exhibitionist. this trend became popular after the introduction of playboy, the rise of hippies and the abolition of polygamy. ;) Culture is intriguing isnt it?
