Never put anything on a burn except cold water. Baking soda, ice etc all trap the heat in more and can make the burn worse. Run it under cold water for 15 min. If it starts to blister, try not to pop it, as it will allow for infection to get in. If the blister does open, you may want to put some antibiotic cream on it with a bandaid. God Bless

There is a product on the market called Neosporian. This will stop the pain and kill most of the germs that cause infection. In the mean time keep the burn clean. The nearest Drug Story should have it.

I go to the pharmacy and buy a product that is a gel on a clear bandaid. It stays on like extra skin and thus you don't rub your hand on your clothes and stuff while dressing. Also, it cools it down immensely. It is specifically for burns and i forget what its called. But it is over the counter and your pharmasit will know what it is. I'ts in a box with several in it.

The first thing you should have done was flush the burn with cold water. Aloe vera gel is good, and so is mouthwash. (I know mouthwash sounds strange, but it's what military nurses use for burned soldiers!) If it's really bad, see a doctor.

Keep the burn submerged in cold water. Avoid lotions or gels as this will seal the heat in.

you are at risk for infection..treating the burn with running tap water is an immediate emergency action. but after that, what you do is have it checked by your doctor so he can prescribe you an antibiotic cream for your wound..also protect your wound by covering it with a medicated plaster..but be sure to clean it and dry it often..coz bacterias live in a moist environment..air out your wound before covering it to keep it dry..

probably a bit late, but if you put the affected area under running cold water for a least five minutes this will help take the heat out.
