you have job and you go to college and you are 20, but you dont have car. is that a problem when it comes out to asking a girl out?

I like most of the ladies responses. Very deep ladies here. What is worse is if she only wants to go out with a guy who drives a particular type of car, e.g. Jag or BMW! If a girl would only go out with you on the condition that you have a car, that's the height of shallowness and stupidity. As some other people here have mentioned, there are other means of transport which are quite efficient and romantic and can give people more time to get to know each other better. Of course, the same would apply to men who think the same way.

girls like you for who you are. It doesn't matter if you have a car or not, all that matters is that you respect each other, get along with other, and have a great time with each other.
If the girl really likes you, then she will drive you places and maybe help you get a car. Ask her out, tell her that you don't have a car, if she rejects you, then you weren't ment to be with that girl.
A girl would care less, she would pay more attention to you rather than the material things you possess.

Nope not all of us look at guys if they have a car. There are many other thngs to take into consideration. besides lots of guys go out and get these expensive cars to try to impress people and end up having no money because of the car. Shows that the guy is really immature

having a car, knowing how to drive is definately a plus plus point..but seriously if the girl really likes you, it is for who you are but not what you have..it is a plus point but not the main thing.
i mean, dont anyone remember how it was during the past where walking or taking the bus is as romantic as well?? in fact it takes a longer time to get home than a car that means spending more time together with ur mind on each other rather than on the traffic situations!!

Well it shouldn't be cause if you like a girl and wanna ask her out then she should like wise date you because she likes you for who you are and not wat you drive cause if something were to happen to the car and she dumped you then you'd probably feel worthless. Mind you a car can be very handy in a relationship coz u could take her shopping, to the movies etc. But don't let a car determine how you should live your life because it's just another means of transportation.

If you are in college, you should be fine in finding a girl. However, the car does help in the long run.

I think if you're creative in where you want to go (i.e. plan your future date), it shouldn't matter as much. If you go somewhere nice near campus (within walking distance), on a nice night so she's not cold and her feet don't hurt, that's romantic, economical, efficient, and thoughtful. If, at the end of the date, she's more interested in how she got there than in who took her, she's shallow. But if she has to walk in the cold or for a long time(painful), or in the rain (ruin the look she spent time creating), or SHE has to pick you up and drive (not chivalrous), that's not cool either.

no nesscarilly is nice to have a car if your going to a place far away such as an hour drive would take 3 hours to walk but if your going down the block or something theres nothing wronge with not having a car

It helps to have a car but it's not important to have one when asking a girl out. I however, find a guy having a car quite sexy ;)

you are in serious trouble! Girls don't ONLY like guys who have cars, but it does help when you go out on dates. You never want to say "Hey let's go out, my mom is letting me use her car"! Yikes, and you know when she sees the car she'll tell you how she likes it or something then what are you going to say "yea it's my mom's". And in that situation don't lie about the car being yours (we always find out)
