I had a c-section and my doctor told me to wait at least 45 days ... But you really go by your own body., you know how you feel and you know if you are hurting or not... So, of course, I did not wait that long. I believe by the 25th day I was able to have sex, gently and nothing happened to me. But not everyone is the same, so you go by what your doctor tells you and also how you are recovering. The exercising I started maybe two weeks later. I got on the treadmill and started lightly walking. No heavy lifting as you do have stitches. But at least you are sweating and feel more energetic because you are exercising.

How long has it been since your c-section. Well I had a c-section also. So the sex part I waited until the six weeks were up and started being very careful. And also on the exercising I would start off slow until it doesnt hurt anymore or until you think youve healed. Hope this helps.

After my c-section, it hurt to laugh. The doctors say wait 6 weeks for all of it but my husband and I had sex at 3 weeks. It was kind of soar and we had to go slow but it was worth it. About the exercise, well, I was in the Navy and excited about getting back in shape (I was 100 lbs when I got pregnant and 170 when I gave birth!). I started trying to do sit-ups at about 5 weeks but couldn't do one until 7 weeks. Just listen to your body and if it doesn't feel right, don't do it. Remember, they cut through muscle during the c-section. It's hard to heal.

You can resume sexual intercourse six to eight weeks after delivery. Make sure that you are comfortable and that you incision is healed before you begin. Also make sure to use some type of birth control until your Dr gives you a Rx for birth control.
Also make sure that you have stopped bleeding. If you are breastfeeding you may need to use a lubricant due to the vaginal dryness for lactating.

you are the only one that can make that decision; everyone has had a different experience. my 1st c-section (twins) was a quicker recovery than my 2nd(single birth). just take it slow and i agree with everyone else, if it hurts stop, it was well over 6 weeks until I felt comfortable and to this day (10months) i can still tell the difference

No sex for 6 weeks after caeserean delivery. Don't lift anything heavier than your baby. Take it easy, in general. (No vacuuming, bending over a lot, etc.)

Are you that much of a whore that you can't wait a little bit? I'm surprised with that attitude that you didn't try to have sex while the baby was beingborn.

take it nice and slow. remember, if having sex hurts, stop doing it and wait awhile. I heard you weren't supposed to have sex for a few weeks after a c-section, nor do any strenuous exercises..you wouldn't want to pop your staples out! but always, check with your doctor
