I have a garden full of them and don't want them to go to waste. I've seen recipes for pickled daikon radishes and pickled radish greens but none for the regular red radish. Also if I used a recipe for that calls for daikon radish would it work with the red?

Please, serious answers only!

Yes, you can use the same recipe as for daikon. If the radishes are small, though, and you want to pickle them whole, it might be a good idea to score them with a knife or pare a strip of peel off so the marinade can soak in.

I haven't heard about pickled red radish yet... but you can try the other recipes if you have loads in your garden.
Or you can give them to your friends, they would be happy to have fresh radishes for breakfast...
Or go to the market and sell them...

Another interesting thing you can do with radishes is peel them and cook them...they taste like cauliflower. You could use them in stirfrys and soups.
