I too find it insulting.
Christians need to pay more attention to their own lives instead of trying to correct what they perceive as flaws in another's life. They should pray fro themselves. They should stop standing upon other people to feel better about themselves.
They should all be killed.

It's not a threat, it's just them saying that. How can you possiably see them saying that as a threat, do you even know what a real threat is. And, first of all, just because someone says a prayer for you doesn't mean you are going to be brainwashed or smited by God. You have a lot to learn. Just because someone says they will pray for you, just means they care. And, if you take caring as a threat then you've got issues.

Only a true religiophobe would interpret "I'll pray for you" as a threat.
If someone posted a message to me saying that they wish I would become a lesbian, I would not feel "threatened" by them wishing it on me.
I would just tell them, "Thanks but no thanks -- I'm straight" and send them on their merry way, so to speak.
Anyone who would try to twist "I'll pray for you" into a threat, or into an attempt to brainwash them, is probably a very intellectually fragile person. Nothing personal.
When I offer to pray for a non-Catholic or a non-Christian, it doesn't mean I'm trying to foist my beliefs on them. It doesn't mean I'm trying to swing them over to my side of things.
It just means that I'm recognizing the fact that a) the person probably needs some divine help, and b) God loves everybody, including those who don't believe in Him.
So, I wouldn't be so negative and hostile about it if I were you. From where I sit, the only person issuing threats is you -- you're the one who's threatening to report people, simply because they're trying to be nice to you.

Only if a reasonable person could infer that praying could cause you harm. Even if you could point to a real harm that had befallen you because of the prayers of others, it would still likely be ruled accidental in a court of law, as the person doing the praying had good intentions. This would likely shield them from criminal prosecution, but would still leave them liable for civil damages. Um...good luck with that.

they aren't wishing ill will on you. they're doing what they think will help you. you don't have to stick around while they pray. you also don't have to be disrespectful about their beliefs. do you think they would tell you to shove it if you told them that you were "thinking" about them or "sending them good vibes" as many non-Christians say? how does their praying affect you in a negative way? if you don't believe in a higher being, then does it really matter whether they pray or not? just say thank you (or don't) and move along. don't be a jerk just for the sake of being a jerk.

I don't think you can report them, because the Yahoo! Answers list of abuses doesn't include prayers.
I realize you must be under a lot of pressure and very upset by all those inconsiderate religious folks out there.
But dont' worry. I will pray for you to feel better.

When we say we want to pray for you, we're not wishing you to become brainwashed, because thats not what we are. we are just real people who seek to find a real God, and we worship him, and in him we have the greatest promise ever imagined, and we just want to share that with you.

When we say we'll pray for you, we ask God that you will have his protection. It is in no way a threat. If someone is praying for something bad to happen to you, then they obviously aren't true Christians.
P.S. I'll be praying for you.

It's all part of the Christian evangelical approach to life. The "fishers of men" kind of thing. Those that are praying for you are most likely praying for good will. If they aren't praying for that reason, then they are not Christian. Plain and simple.

Christians are comanded by God to love everyone. That is why they ask to pray for you.God hasn't struck anyone down since Bible times that I know of.Yes you can report them but it won't do any good, they aren't really threating you they are trying to help you.[In their eyes].Just tell them your not interested in their faith and ask them not to bring it up again. They should leave you alone after that.If not then report them.I'm a christian but I'm not going to try to shove it down your throat. That's not what Christ would have done.

Is it really bothering you that you can't control the action of others?
Report people if you must, but whether you like it or not, you will still receive prayers.
Edit
Not exactly the out come you had hoped for, all these PRAYERS at once. You had better duck you head and RUNNNNNN.
