Was it okay to go take over another country and start killing people? It wasn't about 9-11, it's about Bush being an Oil hungry Mad-Man. This war is built on semantics (ie: "weapons of destruction") Are you all listening to Bush's rantings blindly?

First of all we did not take over Iraq. Iraq has its own government (Thanks to the USA) and they make their own rules and laws. We are their to keep the county from falling apart. You are right about it not being about 9/11, it is for other reasons. Iraq is the country the took over another country when it invaded Kuwit in the early 90's. After we kicked them out they have broken over 20 UN resolutions which were put on them by the whole wrold not just the USA. They consistaly shot missiles at our planes which were patroling their airspace (if thats not an act of war then I dont know what is). They have used WMD's and would refuse to let weapons inspector into there country. Us going into Iraq was voted on by our congress and by the UN secerity counsle, both of which agreed that Saddam needed to go. And for your "Bush is a oil hungry Mad-man" comment. We have not taken one drop of oil from the Iraqi people that oil belongs to them. If you want proof of that just look at the gas prices.

Hillary Clinton, surely no Bush fan, supported the war as necessary from Intelligence developed during the Clinton administration.

I am sure that Hillary is an oil hungry madwoman too! Oh yeah, Tony Blair is an oil hungry madman too!

Iraqis are forming thier own government elected by the Iraqi people. This is horrible. Don't you know that only Europeans and Americans deserve democracy, liberty and freedom. Hussein didn't start a war with Iran that cost a million casualties. He didn't invade and rape Kuwait. He didn't oppress his own people. He didn't reward the families of suicide bombers across the world. He didn't harbor terrorists. (Remember, there are more terrorist groups than Al Quaeda.) He was a nice, respectful member of the international community. Bush made all that up!

(Warning for the humor impaired: The last two paragraphs were written in a sarcastic vein. Do not take them literally!)

Freeing oppressed people from tyranny is always morally right. The only thing needed for evil to flourish is for good men to do nothing. The world did NOTHING for too many years and Saddam was given a green light to rape, murder, starve, torture, slaughter anyone who could not protect themselves from his army. President Bush is a good man and now Saddam's evil is through.

Yes it is ok to overthrow a dictator and free the people.

If the war was about oil, how come we haven't pumped the land dry by now and shipped it all home?

You either get it or your don't. Obviously you don't. Just be grateful you live in a free country where you are allowed to be a whineybitch when other men are protecting your freedom to do so. Even if you don't live in America, Pres. Bush is still fighting for your freedom.

Actually the war is based on False Intel that the former Iraqi Information Minister was leaking to the International community concerning WMD's......Now that this Information is out, people want to rant that its another Lie,because that would mean they have less to complain about.....

I don't listen to ranting and I'm surely not blind. Neither are our military men and women over there protecting our fine country!!

Great, factually void rantings from over the pond.

Thank you, but no thank you, we don't need a ranting from someone who fails to even bother to research easily found facts. And thank you for being an example of how terrible British schools have also become - they put out illiterate twits, also.

We have enough ignorant whiny pukes over here. But thanks for playing "I almost had a coherent thought"

I'm American and I think it's totally wrong. It's nice that we helped out Iraq but we just need to get the hell outta there. We aren't anyone's babysitter, they can deal with it on their own. Bush is a terrible president, I have to fully agree.
