Dogs are great! They are honest, loyal, affectionate, fun, playful. What's not to like. They are easily trained--so getting rid of bad behaviors is no problem.
I prefer larger dogs. The little ones are just "starter dogs." They are for people who think they want a dog but need something to practice on. Once they learn more they can move up to a real dog. LOL

I do like dogs. I love their loyalty to their owners.
They love you no matter what you look like, what stupid thing you do or say. If you have a bad day, they are there, and if you dont want to be bothered, they leave you be. They comfort you when you need it. They play with you and make you laugh at their sweet funny ways. I have a sweet german shepard. She protects me but she is the sweetest teddy bear to me. She listens so well. Even loose she stays with me.I just love her so much. She's like a best friend that really doesn't demand anything but food, water, to be let out and lots of love.

I always liked dog, but after my husband passed away I found that they are even better friends than you realize. They will listen, give love to you even when you are in a bad mood. I find that they make people smile. I have therapy dogs and it is a great joy to take them to the nursing homes and watch the people smile. God must have thought they were special he turned his name around just for them

I like dogs a lot because of the large amounts of fun and entertainment they bring to me. Besides these, I love dogs because I've lived with them for most of my life.

I like cats.
They do all their business in a box...so I don't have to really clean up after them.
They clean themselves so I don't have to bathe them. Dogs need baths and they smell funny.
Cats don't drool like dogs do.
Both animals are smart. Dogs are very loyal but they don't think for themselves.
Cats are more like 'rogues' they stab you in the back from time to time and do spiteful things...but it's cute and sweet because it shows you that they think for themselves and they have a genuine personality.
Dogs are cute though. I guess I'm just high maintanance so I need a low maintanance pet.

Well, most dogs scare me cuz i was attacked by one when i was little but the dog i have now is nice and not mean sooo ya i like him.

I love dogs, I have two right now, momma and daughter. Their way more protective than any other animal I know of. Loyal and if you're smart their easy to train.

although i love cats, i think dogs are the best to have pets. here are my reasons why
1. loyality
2. devoted
3. best friend
4.companionship
5. protection
i have a rottie and he is just the greatest. he is very well behaved and listens good. he has been kennel trained and i would not give him up for anything in the world

Dogs are loyal to there owners, obediant, and in some cases, have saved lifes. If it were a cat in "Lassie," It would have been something like this:
"Little Timmy fell in the well? let's go, Lassie!"
"Okay, sure. After my nap."
