Jesus is considered a prophet. NOT the son of God. They also believe that if you are NOT one of them, you will not go to heaven. They also don't believe in the occult and do not believe in getting blood transfusions, only plasma. They don't celebrate holidays either...the Christian ones, and their birthdays.

It is interesting that we tend to believe all that we hear. I salute you for at least taking the time to investigate what is the truth. First of all, I think they know the identity of Jesus Christ better than any other religion. They KNOW He is the son of God and that He (Jesus) is separate and distinct from God, who is His father. They do not believe in that mystery that God and jesus christ are 3 in 1 (including the Holy Spirit). They are not anti-Christ. I think they worhship the Father, Jehovah God. Jesus, who is not the Father, said that all the glory should be given to the father, but all the other christian religions ignore the father which is what the son said they should not do. And many religions lump the Father and the Son together as one, which would make Jesus a liar because he never said he was the father, he always said he was the son. He never prayed to himself, but the Father. The scripture say that Jesus had no deception in him. They believe all péople will be resurrected and be given a chance during the 1000 year period of time after the "end of times" (Jesus second coming). That does not sound to me as if they are saying they will be the only ways. The resurrection is a free gift to all men. I believe that the JW's understand their faith and the bible better than any other group of people. They studying it daily and preach door to door (as if you didn't know) the truths found in it. they know the bible, they teach from their hearts declaring that Jesus is the Christ, the Son of God. If you have any further doubts you can go to their web site and ask for a brochure from one of them that gives an overview of what they believe according to the bible. Give a chance as you did today by asking the right questions.

I used to be one...well maybe I still am? Meeting God..I don't know. Some believe they will go to heaven. Yes! We definitly believe in Jesus as our savior. Many people think we don't. Thats not true. If your not a witness, then your another religion? I mean we don't judge others just because they're not the same religion. I hope I helped you.
To the other comment. YES Jesus is the son of God. Who told you we believe that????
Who is telling you people this crap? Its all wrong.

They are a manmade false religion started by Charles Taze Russell, and not they do not believe in the real Jesus of the Bible. To them Jesus Christ was someone completely different than what the Bible teaches. As such they do not have eternal life and are condemned for their sins

I am one of Jehovah's Witnesses. As such, I am qualified to answer your question accurately. I will answer from the Bible ...
People cannot meet God in person. Because, as Jesus himself stated through John 1:18: "No man has seen God at any time." However, we can see his qualities and personality as revealed in creation.
YES!! YES!! Jehovah's Witnesses DO BELIEVE in Jesus and HE IS OUR Savior for salvation.

They believe that only 40,000 people will get into heaven.... and they do not believe in Hell. They think that only the Jehovas witness' will get into heaven and that they have to earn their way into heaven. They are most certainly a cult.

No meeting God face to face.
That's dangerous ....Exodus 33:20
Is Jesus savior? 100% accurate!
What happens to non Witnesses?
They're invited to become Witnesses.
If they say 'no thanks' the situation is in God's hands.
Witnesses are witnesses, not judges.
