The issue isn't one of paying more taxes. The issue is the allocation of tax dollars. The government is spending hundreds of billions more than it takes in, which isn't a matter of tax revenue per se, but one of expenditures. Frankly, I think George W. Bush is the most unusual Republican we've ever had in the White House--he makes Ronald Reagan look fiscally responsible, and he makes FDR look like a fan of small government. But to answer your question, I'd gladly pay more taxes if I knew the money would be spent wisely. I just don't have the confidence that it will be spent wisely.

Yes, I'll pay. They should not be deported, they should be put in prison. That will stop them from coming over. They should give them a choice while they're in prison, they can work for 50 cents per hour, or they can sit in a cell with no window or chair. Then, they should "rent" them out to people that want to pay for contract labor, rent them out for $5 per hour. That will pay the cost, with a profit. The whole system could be privatized.
A nation without borders is not a nation.

Better for the government to pay it's bills now by rolling back the estate (Paris Hilton) tax break than to continue borrowing from Saudi Arabia and China.
We are at war and need to raise taxes and call a draft. The president would be impeached shortly after if he enacted a war tax and draft.

No. Let them pay their own way back.
Of course, since over 1/2 of the $2.4 trillion budget is for unconstitutional spending (welfare, education, social security, medicaid, etc) there is actually plenty of taxes being paid to deport them all, already. It's just being spent illegally.

Have you taken a look at how much it costs to have them HERE?
Having said that, if I had real border security and they scrapped the guest worker program I would be ok with legalization of all but the undesirables here. However, given the numbers I would not be ok with a 'family reunification privilege' going with that to bring in still more family outside the standard quotas for immigration.

Are we spending more tax money sending troops to the border or public education, law enforcement, inprisonment, and massive tax write offs from hospitals due to non-payment all caused by illegals?

hell yes i would pay more taxes hell actually I have a better idea I say we get a about 10,000 Americans teach them to use a whip and give them some Mexicans apiece (legal or illegal) and let them beat them back across the border :) First American that gets there beaners back across the border gets to keep there beaners for free slavery :) And if they don't want to keep them then they get to dispose of them anyway they want to. Shooting them is reccomended :)
God bless the South and May she rise agin :)

Every illegal deported represents and enormous tax savings. Illegals are an INCREDIBLE drain on our welfare, medical and law enforcement systems.
The cost of deporting them is only a tiny fraction of what they cost in just one year.
