Whenever a girl describes herself as "a good looking gal," I can tell IMMEDIATELY why guys don't call--you are an arrogant, self-absorbed, high-maintance, pain in the butt. I dated a few girls JUST like you, but I only dated them once. The doll I finally fell in love with never once described herself as "a good looking gal." She had a quiet, self assurance and she let ME tell her how beautiful she was, then when complimented she shyly said, "Thank you."
Man, now THAT is attractive and alluring.

The more attractive the woman is, the harder it is for a shy guy to get the nerve up to ask her out on a date. It's the fear of rejection, and having your heart nuked.
The more a shy guys heart has been nuked in his lifetime. The harder it is to ask the next woman out. Most, shy guys will tend to want the ladies to make the first move, or give a CLEAR signal of interest before a shy guy will make an advance.

You would think they´d jump at the chance for a date, but some guys are afraid of being rejected, especially if it´s a good-looking girl doing the rejecting. Give it time and believe me, if they´re afraid of approaching you, they´ll probably be scared of other things as well and you don´t need a guy who scares easy. You need a man who can deal with it and get over it.

He might not be attrative to your personality... he might have something else like another girl going on... he might just be a player or a jerk.
First rule of thumb- if they don't jump at the chance of going out with you or don't call "he just isn't that intersted" Move on.
There is bigger and better fish in the sea!
