Mole skin by Dr. Scholl's in the US--you can pick it up at any drug store.

Moleskin is great for preventing blisters, but DON"T put it on over a blister. Go to a drugstore and get some Tegaderm.. It's a thin, plastic bandage that goes over the blister. It prevents the pain you get from the rubbing and chaffing and allows the blister to heal while covered. Make sure your toe is very clean before applying the Tegaderm. I would put some iodine or Mercurochrome on it first and let it dry.

I just took care of two blisters on my poor feet;here's what I did.I cleaned the area, popped the blisters with a sterilized thin needle and pushed out the fluid.I left the skin on,but placed a bandage on each of the blisters. There are band-aids specifically made for blister care available at pharmacies.I am avoiding wearing tight-fitting shoes until the skin heals.

Depending on where you live you can pick up blister plasters (bandages) or moleskin at your local drugstore. As the pharmacist. I had a bad blister while I was on a trip, and found great bandages in Gilbrater, never located them in the US though.
