Before college and while in college, I *hated* Fastweb because their scholarships were open to a talent pool of thousands of candidates, and assuming only the best get the award(s), the best of all the college students in the USA/world would get the awards, who would probably get awards at their schools anyway, and "average" no-talents like me would be wasting their time. I remember reading an article of a college student who paid his Harvard tuition, all four years, from private scholarships, most he found on the Internet. And where's he goto school? Harvard! Is he talented and capable? Extremely. Sharp as a tack.
My best scholarship sources were local. Local paper announcements (and there is much $$ to be had by local "lodges," organizations and service agencies) clued me in, and it worked.

Fastweb is the only good one that I know of, but you can try Googling scholarships. Good luck!
