The huge developpement of the Roman Imperium during his time,his interest for culture,especially art and,the last,but not the least what about this:from him the name Caesar became similar to King.You,probably know the expression "Aut Caesar, aut nihil",that means Or Caesar,or nothing.

The names Tsar and Kaiser come from Caesar, his military tactics are still used as a teaching aid in military colleges such as Sandhurst. He lived a life that was more like a comic book adventure hero, kidnapped by pirates, conquering other civilizations and taking Cleopatra as a lover. He has a month of the year named after him and he rearranged the calender (that's until Pope Gregory sorted it completely) He was popular among the ordinary Roman people and his soldiers adored him.

Caesar is one of the most prestigious men in the history of Rome. He is the main reason Rome was the power-house it was in that time.
