No, keeping in touch with your ex, unless you were really close before is not good. I don't stay close to my ex because he told a friend of mine that we screwed when I never even saw him in the 8 days we went out. Staying close to your ex is never going to help you get over that person. HOPE THIS HELPS!!!!!!!!

I was with him for 6 years on and off. We still keep in touch because not only were we bf/gf, but we were good friends too. Just because the relationship ended doesn't mean the friendship has to as well. I only talk to him like once a month tho. "How are you? Good. You?'' That's about it. I'd be there for him if he needed something. But we'll never get back together!

Yeah, I have to keep in touch with mine the next 10 years. We have 2 kids together. Actually, now we are finally friends after divorcing 5 years ago. We have to have contact and be civil, we share two beautiful kids together.

I try to interact with my ex-husband as little as possible. It's pointless to talk to him, every word out of his mouth towards me is accusing me of neglecting our child and how he's gonna take custody away from me and all. :-\
As for ex-boyfriends...no. I think I'd rather chew broken glass than keep in touch with them. They need to just not exist anymore after I date them.

Yes, because I still like her and have some wonderful memories with her which I want to treasure. I think our relationship has merely changed and not ended.

yes I do, because we had a lot of great times together. Everytime we were together we always had fun, but it just wasn't the right time, he was moving away and I was just graduating so I still talk to him, to catch up on things.

Yeah because even through we broke up we still have feeling for each other so we stay with each other but we know that we can't be together.
