Breakfast Tips
Avoid the temptation to be a breakfast skipper by following these quick tips from USDA's Human Nutrition Information Service:
No time? Build a breakfast around foods that are ready to eat or take little preparation time. There are plenty that qualify: fresh and canned fruits, milk, yogurt, cheese, cottage cheese, ready-to-eat cold cereals and instant breakfast mixes.
Take it to go... Try celery stuffed with peanut butter or a meat or cheese spread, dried fruits or vegetable juices.
Perk up cereals...Top cereals with fruit or stir chopped nuts such as peanuts, pecans and walnuts into cooked cereal.
Not hungry yet? Drink juice. Something is better than nothing. Have some bread or crackers later in the morning, then drink some milk and eat some cheese, an egg or peanut butter.
Don't skip if you're on a diet. There's no evidence that skipping meals will help you lose weight. In fact, studies show that most people who skip breakfast tend to eat more later in the day. Some even select more calorically-dense foods than those who eat breakfast.

Try this...
Take a piece of bread and lay it on a cutting board. Using a drinking glass cut a hole in the center of the bread.
Put a little butter in a frying pan and melt. Then place the bread in the pan and crack an egg open and place it in the bread hole. Fry it on both sides turning it over with a spatula. Place the round piece of bread you removed and toast it in the same pan. Quick breakfast of egg and toast. Easy as pie.

Orange juice or the fruit itself. Waffles with Maple syrup. Oatmeal( 1 cup milk, about 1/2 cup oatmeal, 2 tbsp sugar, 1 cinnamon stick, 1 bay leaf) Bring milk just to a boil along with cinnamon stick & bay leaf, add oatmeal stirring constantly, add sugar.Allow to cook uncovered, stirring occasionally, cook for about 10 mins. or until mixture thickens. Delicious and very nutritious.

Fruit is always a healthy way to go. Oatmeal is healthy and filling too, it will certainly hold you over till lunch (the instant packets). 2% or Skim milk with honey nut cheerios or another "health concious" cereal.
Enjoy and good luck!

Plain yogurt sweetened with local honey. Also, if you get a yogurt maker and make the stuff yourself...it's SO much better. Another alternative is oatmeal...not the cheap instant stuff, but the good organic oats!

Times are changing its being recommended that you eat your highest cab intake in the morning
So you could eat what you would normaly eat for dinner or lunch for breakfast.
Try a good old lean ham on whole wheat with lettuce and tomatoes with fresh fruit on the side.
