Hi,I am curious,I have certain family members,mostly in-laws,i absolutely cannot stand to be around.they lie,they cause trouble,seems it runs in the family,because i see alot in most of them,anyone out there have people like this in your family that u absolutely cant stand to be around....and i dont mean hate..but tell me about it,i am interested in other ppl having the same problems,i even have sister-in-laws,that are in their early 40's that tell lies on me and my kids,their own flesh and blood.....we have almost all but cut ties

strangers are nicer to us then our own families,and we stay to ourselves and dont mind other ppls business's,they mind everyones! thanks all for your replys

i am going to give an instance of what i am dealing with,and someone tell me how to deal with this s-n-l.she told the family.that i send my sons to school to b drugs!!and lots of other lies,and she also is a d/addict

I have some inlaws (outlaws) who don't like me because I am not drenched in money like they are.
But then I don't have all the debt they have so whats the problem is my point of view.
My lot are fine. We all came from a working class background so can appreciate money or a lack of it and are not motivated by it.

I have a sis in law that I absolutely cannot stand. She and I are the same age and she is married to my brother. It is because of her that I barely speak to my brother and haven't seen him in a couple of years. She lies, cheats on him, demands that the world owes them a living (has only been working for the past few months out of her whole life). When I was with my ex, she told lies about his kids to make her and her kids look good. She has always put my brother down, even beat him up (HE is the one that goes to jail for defending himself and he usually goes with something broken; he is blind and she takes advantage of that), she beats my brother into the ground and keeps going even after he is as far as he can go, etc.
I would say to stay away from the family that treats you like crap and ignore what they say about you and your kids. Then make friends outside of the family. The family is NOT going to change because you want them to. Just because they are blood, doesn't mean that they have to be friends/family. I have friends that are more my family than my own brother and sis in law are!

my sister-in-law verbally and physically abused my nephew
( her step-son ) to the point that I went to their home and took him out. I have not spoken to her in 5 years.She makes holidays miserable ! When she goes out to eat she complains about the food,but she sure eats it !
During Christmas she expects everyone to bring gifts to some kids she babysits.On her birthday you have to call her at a certain time to wish her a happy birthday ( not too early nor too late in the day )
She was married to my brother for several years until I found out she had children from the previous marriage.For some reason her grandmother had custody of them.
She is just a hateful person,she has alot of bitterness in her and is really hard to like.
My nephew later told me she would make him stick his tongue out and she would hit him on his bottom jaw so he would bite himself.
My nephew's girlfriend just had a baby and he will not let his step-mom see the baby.They are living with me so I know my sister-in-law will not dare step into my house !
My other sister-in-law is like a sister to me and a daughter to my parents ! !
Too bad we can't pick and choose family !

My mother-in-law does not respect me, will not tell me the truth about stuff when I ask her about things but then she calls and tries to have conversations with me. I'm polite and go along with the bs for my wife's sake but it really makes me crazy.

well i have this ex fiance he was everything to me but we broke up two weeks ago. but anyways. he have an 18 mth old son together and i hate his dad. he is a drunk. and he dont like me because i had two other kids from an old marriage. oh well their lost. have a good one
