Public transport is a warm subject remember right here. For years this city had busses throughout, maximum hardly used. different methods of transportation have been put in like trolleys and prefer jitneys and bicycles and such and none particularly took off, some closed down, some nevertheless suffering with the aid of fact that this could be a vacationer section. The bus remains, that is nevertheless sparkling, the value has long gone bigger and that is regularly the destructive that use it. a diverse sort of transport (particularly there are 2) for the disabled and seniors and this methodology works with the county, on one the county will pay for you while you're in that welfare bracket and on the different you pay a declining volume in accordance to your reward. those with earnings experience the bus and would get discounted expenditures. The bugaboo is that even however the conventional bus strains routes have been streamlined some situations no longer that a lot of human beings use them, and particularly are not use them in this destructive financial gadget as interest losses are extreme right here. on a similar time as all this is going on the government enables us the money for a velocity prepare. we are up interior the air as to whether it would pay for itself or no longer. in all hazard no longer even yet it would advise jobs for a on a similar time as till ultimately it fails.

I think if you are referring to Singapore, probably SGD$5-10 per day (MRT + bus).

If its Australia, where I am currently based, its about AUD$5-10 per day too (petrol for car - sorry its not public transport).

If its China, the cost is too low for me to worry about it. Just take taxi everywhere.

Overall, it depends on our spending power and currency exchange.

Not one cent directly, but the leaches in the government take my tax money and use it to subsidize those who do. Gasoline (road) tax money should be used to improve roads, not for other purposes. If public transportation is important, it should also be able to pay for itself through fares!
