But the only problem is that she lives like 14 miles from me, should I drive and tell her face to face or call.

I have always found that poetry is a great way to express what you feel if you yourself cannot find the words. There are plenty of poets who have the God given talent of putting emotions into words are all over the place. Grab her attention and soften her up by poetry then ask the question-works everytime!

Writing a letter shows the girl that you don't have enough confidence to approach her face to face. So your better off talking to her and believe me they will appreciate that more.

Asking a girl for a date in a letter is just cowardly.
If you don't have the courage and self-esteem to ask her in person, even if you are nervous while you ask...(nervousness is normal)...
but if you can't get up the courage, then you are not READY to date.
So, wait, my friend, until you want it so bad, you'll do it face to face.

First off, don't use a letter! Just find a little courage and ask her yourself. Just tell her that you like her, that you think she's great and you'd like to spend more time together. Then ask her if she'd like to go out sometime.
Girls like it when guys make bold moves like that by coming right up to them and asking.

son, don't. it's tacky. something like this, you want to be face to face. man up and ask her. what's the worse thing could happen?

letters a sweet but why not in person?! i know its hard but it always shows the gurl that you are really interested in her. but if you must, just be blunt! "will you go out w/me?"

it may b cheesy but sum gurls actually think that it is very romantic (well chicks in missouri neways). just tell her how u feel. if she says no, she ain't the right one.
