Which one requires the least amount of English, spelling and grammar? I'd pick that one if I were you...
LOL @ Amy...

Do you mean: " I have narrowed it down to The National Guard, The Army, or the Marines." ?
Thank you for wanting to serve our country. The others have given info about the different choices.
First go to a recruiter, and see if you can pass the ASVAB, the written test. You might pass but not qualify for training in the MOS you want. I suggest that you work on improving yourself.

That would depend on what you want to do.
National Guard can be activated just like the Army regulars are.
Army has great ground fighting techniques.
Marines are three branches, but mostly the first ones in.
None are really better, just all have to do with protecting this great Country you live in. All have the same goals in mind and work for one man. The President of the USA.

I say do whatever you want I guess the national guard might be good but you know how things are now days if that's what you want in life they might ship you to Iraq I haven't heard the latest with the war but that would be my first guess. Although, if that's something you don't mind doing, go for it either one you pick really doesn't matter but if you're going to it might as well be the army....hope I helped a little. Danielle.

I had this discussion with my uncle who retired from the Army. His advice, if you're smart go Marine, Navy or Air Force. National Guard is for if you aren't ready for the real serious commitment, it's good if you can't decide if you really want to be in or not. Good luck and go talk to recruiters!

Looking at it from an educational perspective, I still feel the Navy and the Air Force offer the best enlisted education. Other than that, I really don't have an opinion on the branches.
I grew up military (Dad's a retired Seabee and my uncle's a retired Admiral) and would have served myself had it not been for an injury that disqualified me.

Each one has its Pros and Cons. You can be a reservist for any of the branches and work on going to school while serving a little each month. I would suggest going and talking to each of the recruiters and see what they have to offer at the time, it is always going to depend on your timing. Remember that whatever they promise you before you go to boot camp usually becomes crap once you are in, so keep that in mind. The higher your ASVAB scores, the more chances you have at getting a cool/good job. Good luck and thank you for wanting to serve our country!

The National Guard. You can stay at home and if you decide to go in the full-time military you still can.

the air force. unless you are a pilot, your chances of seeing combat are next to nil. A warm bed at night and 3 hot meals a day. You know what they say about the Marines, right?
The Marines are looking for a few good men
to stop a few good bullets
