She's asking Is It Illegal? If you downloaded the songs from limewire, that's illegal. Putting them on a CD is also illegal. But if you paid for the I-tunes then no that's not illegal, but im sure you're only supposed to put them on your Ipod.

Maybe you should stand up, that's legal.

Apple has strict policies about downloading and sharing their music, but if you pay for an iTunes download, you can legally burn a CD of that music. You can also listen to those songs on up to 5 "authorized" computers, according to Apple's Terms of Use.

yes, yes, yes.........why dont u just go down to the bank and rob it??? did your cousin pay for them? did you pay for them? if not then yes it is illigal!
Copyright infringements, gotta pay the man to get the product or there is no reason for them to make the cd's you want.....this is the problem with kids, they don't know what is legal or not........but let me tell you it is..........if you don't pay for it it is illegal! you cant make a copy of something and give it or sell it to someone else, that is copyright infringements, and this is why there are now huge fines and jail time for people who illigally download movies and music and if you think they dont know who you are you are sadly mistaken! your IP address from you computer is alway there when you go to a sight on the internet and i believe that if you hit the same sight over and over again that is when they can get ya..........people who download illigally should have to pay the piper! they are the reason so many businesses are going under..IE.... SAM GOODY!!!

Technically speaking, I don't believe that you are supposed to reproduce anything you download without permission. READ:Paying $$$... So if you paid to download them, and made yourself a cd, fine. If your cousin wants one too, she should (In THEORY) pay her own fees for her own access to those songs.
However, will you get caught if you burn her a cd of your paid for songs? Nah, I highly doubt it...
