Actually, the verse in question does not COMMAND people not to judge! It's from Matthew 7:1-2.
"Do not judge, or you too will be judged. For in the same way you judge others, you will be judged, and with the measure you use, it will be measured to you."
So in order to judge you simply have to be willing to be held to the same standard. Jesus goes on to state that the type of person he's talking about ignore the plank in their own eye and draw attention to the speck in their neighbor's. Doesn't mention anything about someone with a speck in their eye pointing out the plank in their neighbor's, now does it?

First of all the premise "not to judge" is anti life.
Imagine if you had the ability to remove that value from any animated life form. What would you get? A dead life form.
This is common sense!
This is shear, blatant evidence that Christianity is anti-life at it's soul.
I like what Ayn Rand said much better: "Judge and be prepared to be judged."

The King James version of the Bible has translation errors, and one of them is the scripture you are referring to. It was really written as "judge not unrightous judgement, lest ye be judged." Do you really think the world would be ok without justice to those who are potentially harmful to society? Let's use some logic on this one....

I wish most judges were Christian, but to answer the question, Judges judge by man made laws and God doesn't want us to judge by His laws.

It doesn't say you can't judge. It just says if you do judge, expect to be judged on the same level. "Judge not, lest ye be judged".
It's bad when people who haven't read the Bible or don't understand it try to comment on it to others.

Good question! WE have to have laws other wise everyone would be running amuck. In the bible it does say that you have to abide by rules. (not exact wording). In the Old Testament it was eye for eye and life for life.

You know, if you want to take verses out of context, I can get the Bible to tell you to go kill yourself.
