That goes for girls as well as guys--when you're taken people want you--when you are available--not so much.

The reason is that when you are happy in a relationship, you smile more, are more friendly, and more what the opposite sex wants to see--because you're happy. After a breakup--many people look down right miserable, are grouchy, etc.

i think it's because when you're alone women feel that you're kinda desperate to find a girlfriend. when you have someone you're a lot more confident therefore more attractive - just a theory though!

when you're with someone exclusively, you exude confidence. when you become single again, your ego is crushed.

next time you're single, try remembering that you're desirable whether you're with someone or not. that will show others that you're not afraid to be alone and you're happy with yourself and don't need someone else to make you happy.

that has never happened to me. Yes, they want what they can't have. He's more attractive, obviously he's attractive or even more so since he's taken.
