BWAHAHAHAHAHAAA!!! That is such an awesome question! ^_^ The answer is that the Bible is nothing but a collection of ancient fables, myths, and hero stories, with a liberal smattering of astro-theological teachings thrown in that were carried over from other religions. Some of the stories are so absurd that one would have to be a toddler to believe them, such as Balaam's donkey talking, or the sun and moon standing still.
The NT has nothing to do with Judaism but is a rewriting of pagan myths about dying-and-resurrecting saviors, long predating Christianity and going well back to ancient Egypt. All of the elements are there--the son of God born to a poor virgin, the child growing up with extraordinary wisdom, him performing miracles and becoming famous over all the land, having 12 followers (with 12 being an astronomical number referring to the zodiac), then being misunderstood, persecuted, killed on a cross, tree, or pole, and coming back to life after a few days, then promising to return in the future. Ancient myths are full of such tales--the NT writers simply changed the names of people and places to suit a different audience so that the story would seem more relevant.

Wrong again.
Moses did not fit the 10 commandments on 2 stone tablets. They were written on them by the finger of God.
Jesus did not "do away with 10 in exchange for 2.

Everything you need to know to live a Godly life and do the Lords will is in the Bible. Wisdom and history and encouragement is in there. If it were the only book around it would be all you need to live by, You could do an in depth study of the bible and it would be revealing things to you for 100 years or how ever old you get.

Because there are 72 books in it (or 66, if you prefer.)
And just because Cole's Notes makes a good 15 page summary of "War and Peace" for those aiming to bone up quickly for an exam on the subject, this does not mean that Tolstoy is now completely without worth...

Everything that is there is there for a purpose. Those purposes are found below.
II Timothy 3:16-17: "All scripture is given by inspiration of God, and is profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, for instruction in righteousness: That the man of God may be perfect, thoroughly furnished unto all good works."

There's a lot more than that to say. You could fit 'Jesus is your saviour' onto a keychain, but why would you believe it when you didn't have the story of his life and the miracles he performed and the things he endured to back it up?
