To prepare for the grill:

Season steak very well with Lawry's seasoning salt, onion & garlic powder (whatever you like)

Then, brush T-bone steak lightly with oil if desired and place directly over the heat source. Grill 10 to 16 minutes per side, depending on thickness of the steak. Turn once and remove when it reaches the desired degree of doneness.

Mmm......Enjoy!

The secret is how you marinade the meat.

Some marinade:
Ingredients marinade #1
1 Tbsp. fennel seeds, crushed
2 tsps. salt (optional)
1/2 tsp. ground ginger
1/2 tsp. crushed red pepper

Ingredients marinade #2
1/4 cup ketchup
3 Tbsps. light molasses
2 Tbsps. Worcestershire sauce
1 Tbsp. spicy brown mustard
1 Tbsp. onion\cooked, grated

Ingredients marinade #3:
1 1/4 cup salad oil
3/4 cup soy sauce
1/4 cup worcestershire sauce
2 tablespoons dry mustard
2 1/4 teaspoons salt
1 tablespoon coarse ground pepper
1/2 cup vinegar
1 1/2 teaspoons dry parsley flakes
2 crushed garlic cloves
1/3 cup lemon juice

Ingredients marinade #4: (best with pork chops or ribs)
1/2 c. soy sauce
1/2 c. water
2 tbsp. lemon juice
2 tbsp. oil
1 tbsp. brown sugar
1/8 tsp. garlic, minced
Pinch of pepper

Ingredients marinade #5:
1/4 c. oil
1/4 c. soy sauce
2 tbsp. catsup
1 tbsp. vinegar
1/4 tsp. pepper
1/4 tsp. garlic

Ingredients marinade #6:
1 1/2 cups brown sugar
1 1/2 cups ketchup
1/2 cup red wine vinegar
1/2 cup water
1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce
2 1/2 tablespoons dry mustard
2 teaspoons paprika
2 teaspoons salt
1 1/2 teaspoons black pepper
2 dashes hot pepper sauce
Cut back on the brown sugar to make it less sweet, or add more Worcestershire for more 'steak sauce' appeal.

Marine sauce: You could store in a covered jar in refrigerator, and use only the amount you need

Instructions
Prepare grill. Combine the ingredients in a bowl. Mix well. Rub spices into beef. Meat can be covered and refrigerated overnight before grilling. Grill beef. While grilling, baste frequently with the marinade.

TIP: When grilling meat, always use wood chips for a truly smoky flavor

Take 1 cup of salt and 1 cup of sugar and mix it into 1 gallon of water. Soak the steak in that solution in the fridge overnight. Then barbecue it on the grill.

cover with crushed black peppercorn and sea salt on both sides get your grill hot! usally around 350 or so, if you can. let the flavor of the pepper and salt penetrate the meat and then put it on the grill DO NOT TURN IT MORE THAN ONCE!! let it cook on one side until you get the doneness you desire Approx. 8 to 10 min for med. med rare. then flip it! and let it finish cooking.

your sauce is added at the table. Don't mess up a great stake with sauce on the grill.

Salt liberally. Fresh cracked pepper.
Make sure your coals aren't too hot. Plently of ash is good. Don't turn the meat alot. Just once is fine.
Let the meat goet good and seared. Also, let the meat rest for at least 10 minutes before you cut into it. Any sooner and all he juice will run out.

Scrape with the dull side of a kitchen knife to be sure there are no bone chunks from the cutting - cook slowly for tenderness - serve w/ horseradish sauce.

NO MARINADE - enjoy the pure beef taste!
