Well I would just set up a stero in the reception hall. Copy some of your favorite songs onto a couple of CD's. Have a friend of yours in charge of it, and maybe pay them like $10 (or more, or less depending on what you feel is good) all they have to do is push play, when that CD is done enter another and push play again. Just test the stero to make sure it works okay in the hall.

Or if you know somebody personally to do the DJ or a live band. But doing it yourself is the cheapest way to do it!! Congratulations!

Hire a band, ask a friend or relative that can play and or/sing to do so, play cds and have a cousin or someone operate the stereo, just hire one person (pianist, harpist, etc) it will be cheaper than a whole band. Check your local universities to see if there are any bands struggling for work or if the music dept there can help you out at an affordable price. Good luck!

Are you talking at the actual wedding? I've never heard of someone dj'ing that...get a pianist or organist. If you're talking about the wedding, how about a band? Or even I heard that you can download the songs you want on your mp3 player and plug it in to speakers and let it go!

Get a small band, maybe one of your friends is in one. Or another idea is to ask one of your friends to be a DJ, and just use a stereo and a bunch of cds/mp3 player. .

Try live music. Are any family members or friends in a band? Check them out and see if they are good.
